A quick question related to business property location:
What’s the furthest away you would recommend a business property be from where the owner lives?
Reason I ask is that the only properties that tend to meet my budget end up being around an hour away from where I live. In your experience, is this too far away?
Scott, The picture on the article was of a restaurant I opened in Santa Fe, but I lived on the east side of the mountains in Albuquerque at the time. It was one hour drive to get to Santa Fe. But after a year you will be hating the commute, so your job will be to have an on-site manager trained to handle day to day so you don't have to be there everyday.
